Discontinued - Hofner Violin Bass Model H5000/1-0 Deluxe Reissue - Discontinued

The 5000/1 violin bass was Hofner's Deluxe version of the 500/1.  Hofner decided to discontinue this bass in early 2015.  This Violin Bass was available in a Natural Finish and fretted or fretless versions.  The 5000/1 features Gold plated hardware, Ebony fretboard, a Hofner "Diamond" headstock inlay and highly sought after Birds Eye Maple back and sides.  It's a beautiful bass.  Note this was the only Hofner German bass available as a fretless bass. Lefty and righty versions were available.
